upcoming Destinations
Our next batch of retreats is inspired by my personal pathways to joy. This past year, I’ve overcome some of my greatest hardships and unlocked new levels of fulfillment through presence, playfulness, discipline, wholeheartedness, and trust. So we are infusing these themes throughout our adventures, in pursuit of our happiest year yet. Here’s where we’re headed:
the yoga practice
My approach to teaching yoga is certainly modern, balancing more-traditional discipline with an an all-levels accessibility. Every class will be rooted in the Chakra System, meaning we’ll use our physical body to access (and heal) aspects of our energetic body. As you pick the retreat that’s right for you, take into consideration the theme + workshops that resonate.

pa’lante retreat faq
Q: Do I need to be an experienced yogi to attend a retreat?
A: All levels are welcome! At every retreat, I will offer modifications and hands-on adjustments to support your current practice and help you advance. If you’re totally new to yoga, I recommend taking a few classes or watching some YouTube videos beforehand, to get the most out of your retreat experience.
Q: Why do you include excursions and group activities on the itinerary?
A: Excursions and day trips are not standard to most yoga retreats. But it’s a highlight for me. It gives everyone an opportunity to be immersed in the local community, explore the incredible landscape, build deeper connections with one another, and potentially step outside their comfort zone. Having visited these places before, I’d consider myself a pretty credible source of fun. Plus, with gratitude overflowing from our yoga practice, everything just seems 10x more amazing!
Q: What makes a Pa’lante Yoga Retreat different than a regular vacation?
A: Pa’lante retreats are a hybrid of relaxation + adventure + personal transformation. With wellbeing at the foundation of each trip (yoga, exercise, whole foods food, nature), you’ll go home completely refreshed + re-inspired. You’ll discover a new sense of confidence by stepping outside your comfort zone daily: specialty workshops + adventurous excursions + spiritual ceremonies, etc. And the most important piece is the community that we create together. On every retreat, I am humbled by the unique wisdom and life experiences that are shared among the group. Everyone becomes everyone’s teacher.
Q: I’m an introvert. Will a yoga retreat overwhelm me?
A: I empathize with introverts so much! As someone who enjoys being both a social butterfly and lone wolf, I totally see the value in having alone time to recharge. On every retreat, there will be alone time to do your own thing (read a book, explore, nap, etc.), balancing the group dynamic. And you can always excuse yourself from group activities if you need more time. Nothing on the itinerary is mandatory. There are many private room options to accommodate those who like a little more personal space.
Q: Do we have to share the property with other non-retreat guests?
A: No, every amazing property is all ours, with exclusive access to all of the amenities. It’s a sacred space just for Pa’lante yogis. You’ll have a chance to mix and mingle with the locals whenever we’re in town.
Q: How do I prepare for the retreat?
A: When we get closer to the retreat date, I’ll be sure to send an email to the group with a packing list, transportation information, and retreat specifics. In the meantime, just be sure to have an updated passport and get on your yoga mat!
