for the:

queen of balance

If you’ve ever seen the movie Eat, Pray, Love, you might be familiar with the expression dolce far niente or the sweetness of doing nothing. We’ll spend a week on an organic farm embodying this philosophy - slowing down to notice the magic that’s right in front of us. Balanced between movement + stillness, cobblestones + dirt roads, it’s a bit of everything to create the ultimate girl’s trip. Celebrating the feminine, we’ll explore themes of intuition, creativity, and alignment. And balance our adventures + yoga practice with gelato + pool time.

retreat intention: attunement

primary chakras: third eye

five (5) nights accommodation

A restored 13th century farm is the backdrop for our Tuscan getaway. Sitting atop dormant volcanic land, and overlooking the walled town of Monteriggioni, this 10 bedroom estate is rich with history and life.

daily 90-minute morning flow

Featuring movement, rest, indulgence, and adventures, yoga is just one of the many highlights of this retreat. With the Divine Feminine as our focus, you can expect a traditional Hatha practice: harmony of the sun + moon.

2x Afternoon workshops

These will be a fusion of movement and reflection, diving deeper into empowered female archetypes:

  • The Intuitive: An Embodiment Practice

  • The Grandmother: The Art of Remembering + The Magic of Storytelling

daily brunch + dinner

We’ll have morning coffee + fruit before our yoga practice. Then we get to indulge in two hearty, homemade meals. Come for the yoga + landscapes, stay for the gnocchi.

Sunrise bonfire + oracle reading

It’s a coffee soul chat under the Harvest Moon. On September 16th, we will wake up early to watch the sunrise + moonset, closing out our reflection-portion of the retreat with the world’s dreamiest women’s circle. Bring a beanie + sweater for the cooler fall temperatures.

thermal baths

Promise me you won’t tell anyone about this secret spot! Natural hot springs on a salt mountain in the woods? Casual.

natural swimming hole

Another secret spot, just 15-minutes from our property. This series of waterfalls and natural pools is the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.

siena day trip

Siena is small enough to see in a day and interesting enough that you won’t want to leave. It’s romantic, idyllic, and so photogenic. You’ll have time to roam on your own or hang with me!

gelato in Monteriggioni fortress

One evening, we will walk to Monteriggioni (a tiny walled city) for a very important post-yoga gelato.

pilgrimage and a picnic

Our property sits on Via Francigena, a pilgrimage that connects England to Rome. So we are upping our step count on this retreat by wandering the Tuscan countryside. It’s a leisurely mid-day walk. Bring a hat and a little backpack for your snacks. We’re putting an epic twist on girl dinner.

Downtime

One of our favorite properties just added a pool. So you can bet there will be extra downtime to soak under the Tuscan sun.

common questions

Q: How do I get there?
A: You’ll fly into the Florence airport and then take an hour taxi to the property. You can also take the train from Florence to Castellina in Chianti - Monteriggioni and then take a taxi from there to the property. When we get closer, I’ll be able to help you guys coordinate groups, if you wish to travel together.

Q: Are there animals on the farm?
A: Yes, there are donkeys, geese, chickens, dogs, and cats. If you have allergies, please, make a note of this.

Q: Will we be together in Siena?
A: Whatever you prefer! You can hang out with me and roam or do your own thing. We will have about 5 hours in the city to explore, eat, and meet up as you gals choose.
