understanding your INTUITION: an embodiment practice

Have you ever made the om sound in a yoga class?

In yoga, we refer to om as “the sacred sound,” rather than a word. As we vibrate through the syllable together, we all feel the same vibration pulsing through our hearts at the same time.

Instead of explaining the divine, we experience it.

Intuition is the same - there’s no common language to articulate its subtleties, as it’s unique from one person to the next. Intuition is a state of pure resonance. It’s a wisdom we feel.

I am often asked:

How can you tell the intuition from the thinking mind?

And my only response is: You’ll know.

But we have to be embodied to discern. Discernment isn’t forced, it’s felt. It’s the magnetism of a hunch. A muscle of surrender, strengthened through experience. So we attune ourselves to the sensations of reality and make an embodied decision. That’s what embodiment truly is:

To acknowledge the frequency of energy in real time.

Okay, then what? Once we’re embodied, and the message is clear, how do we muster up the courage to follow its calling?

We simply remind ourselves of the one thing we know to be true in this lifetime:

None of us get out alive.

We are not invincible, no matter how safe, protected, or guarded we try to be. No one leaves unscathed. We simply get to the end of our lives with either a false sense of control or love in our hearts and the wisdom of the divine pumping through our veins.
