nosara, costa rica

July 5-10, 2027

for the:
easy rider

Costa Rica has been my second home for over 10 years and it’s the place I feel most like myself. There’s a rawness to the jungle that inspires authenticity and a magic that makes my heart beat a little faster. Bringing you with me to this place I call “home” is something I look forward to every year. This retreat has sold out quickly, the past five years, making it a Fan Favorite of 2027. Our most light-hearted retreat on the list, it’s a vacation rooted in wholeheartedness - soaking in the joys of movement, ocean time, and the simplicity of being.

retreat intention: joy

primary chakras: heart

five (5) nights accommodation

This jungle villa + yoga-studio combo is one of my all-time favorites! Located in the heart of Playa Guiones, it’s walking distance to the beach, shops, and cafes. With privacy in the jungle to go inward and reset.

Two (2) daily yoga classes

We’ll kickstart each day with an energizing morning flow and rotate our afternoon practices between restorative and power styles of yoga. This is hands-down my favorite yoga space we get to practice in. It’s surrounded by a lush tropical garden. It’s bright in the mornings and moody in the afternoon showers. Bad Bunny yoga included.

2x holistic wellness workshops

Nosara sits in one of the world’s Blue Zones - where longevity is a result of holistic wellbeing. Inspired by the local lifestyle, we’ll carve out time to explore themes of our own mind-body connection. When you sign up for this retreat, you’ll vote for the two (2) workshops that pique your interest:

  • The Chakra System + The Archetypes

  • Ayurveda + The Five Elements

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine + The Five Climates

  • Ikigai: A Japanese Guide to Fulfillment

Pink Sand Island boat trip

Our local crew is awaiting our annual arrival. We’ve been going to Nosara for years and have the coolest ocean guides for our sunset sail. This trip includes a coastal cruise, a swim around Pink Sand Island, and (hopefully) incredible wildlife encounters - quintessential Costa Rica. Drinks, coconuts, and fresh fruit included. Salud!

*A short swim is required to get from the boat to the island.

Isla Chora Boat Trip

The warm Pacific Ocean is what makes this place feel like home. So it’s a double-header of boat trips, spending as much time in the water as possible. For our more experienced surfers in the group, bring your surfboards - we might just stumble across some secret surf spots.

*A short swim is required to get from the boat to the island.

One (1) Group Surf Lesson

To fully experience Costa Rica, we’ll have one group surf session. It’s totally optional, of course, but it’ll give you the opportunity to try something new + challenging. Experienced surfers are welcome to rent a board instead. All levels welcome.

sunset happy hour + tuk tuk rides

Sunset culture in Costa Rica is the best! We’ll spend one evening at Playa Pelada - a tropical cove around the corner from Playa Guiones (our main hub). Grab your sunnies and a Spritz (or mocktail) and soak in the slow pace of life.

Daily breakfast + Dinner

Breakfast + dinner will be prepared by our favorite plant-based chef in the villas. Lunch will be on your own - there are TONS of cute local spots to try, walking distance from our property.

common questions

Q: What time is check in?
A: You can arrive at our villas any time after 4pm on July 5, 2027.

Q: Is Costa Rica safe?
A: The safest! As a solo female traveler, this is something I take very seriously, too. Costa Rica is so safe, in fact, they’re one of the few countries without a military. Just follow standard safety protocol while traveling anywhere and you’ll be good!

Q: I’m nervous about getting to the destination alone. Can you help me?
A: Of course! Before the retreat, I will send all of my suggestions for transportation services, including private shuttle options. I will also share with the group when everyone else lands, in case you want to coordinate travel together. Plus, I’ll be on standby at the destination, awaiting your arrival!

Q: Do you need to be a surfer to attend this retreat?
A: Not at all! While there will be a group surf lesson, and an options for experienced surfers to enjoy a secret break, this trip is not surf-centric. If you are a surfer, like me, you’ll have plenty of down time to enjoy the incredible waves of Playa Guiones.

Q: I don’t swim very well - should I still come on this retreat?
A: I might suggest looking at other options, as there is swimming required on both boat trips to get to the little islands. You’re welcome to stay on the boat or use pool noodles… but it’s something to consider.
